All the dirt on Melaleuca thymifolia
Melaleuca thymifolia also known as the Thyme-leaf Honey-myrtle, is a small flowering shrub from the myrtle family. She's native to Eastern Australia (so if you're on the east coast she'll thrive at your place!) and is known for her resilient nature.
This little baby can withstand or bounce back from drought, wind, and even light frost. Place her in a rockery, group plantings, or as an extensive ground cover. In Spring and Summer she'll give you unique rich purple stemless flowers, look like feathered claws and last up to 8 months of the year! The melaleuca thrives in almost any soil with little attention needed and is usually free from pests and diseases.
