What varieties are included when I order an Australian native plant pack?

No mystery stock or random leftovers here! Our nursery team hand-selects a premium mix of our absolute healthiest, most vibrant low-maintenance native plants currently thriving in our greenhouse. We choose them intentionally to ensure they complement each other perfectly—giving you a gorgeous blend of structural textures, iconic foliage, and nectar-rich flowers. It’s the easiest way to add an instant splash of classic bushland charm to your garden right out of the box.

How does this pollination pack help attract bees and birds to my garden?

We have engineered this collection to be the ultimate ecological hotspot for your backyard! The native shrubs and groundcovers included in this pack have been specifically chosen because they produce high volumes of nectar and pollen. By planting this curated mix, you are creating a reliable, year-round food source that will naturally attract native bees, butterflies, and honeyeaters directly to your garden patch, boosting local biodiversity effortlessly.

Can I request specific plant varieties when I buy Australian native plants online?

We absolutely love helping you match your outdoor aesthetic or specific garden conditions! While our Pollination Box is curated as a seasonal surprise collection of our top-performing habitat builders, we always try our best to accommodate special requests when you buy plants online in Australia. If you have your heart completely set on a particular backyard favourite—like a hardy Grevillea, a structural Banksia, or a soft Westringia—just leave a note for us in the checkout section. If it’s thriving beautifully in our nursery, we’ll gladly pack it for your custom collection.

Are these native plants suitable for pots or should they go in the ground?

They are incredibly versatile performers! The varieties included in this assorted pack are chosen for their adaptability, meaning they will happily thrive whether you choose to plant them out in your garden beds or display them as potted plants on balconies and patios. Just ensure that if you are keeping them in containers, you use a premium, free-draining native potting mix and choose a pot with plenty of drainage holes, as Australian natives hate having "wet feet."

How do I care for my low-maintenance native plant starter pack?

Don't panic—we've engineered this entire experience to be completely foolproof, even if you don't exactly have a natural green thumb yet. Australian natives are famous for being drought-tolerant, resilient, and incredibly hardy once established. We don't just drop a box on your doorstep and run away, either. Every delivery unlocks our friendly Garden Coach email check-ins to hold your hand through the initial planting phase.

Are the plants in this pollination pack safe for my cats, dogs, and pets?

We love our furry friends and native wildlife equally, which is why we always urge a little bit of caution when you buy houseplants online or stock your garden. Because this is an assorted surprise pack chosen for maximum biodiversity and flower contrast, some of the stunning varieties included might not be classified as 100% pet-friendly plants. Certain native varieties can cause mild stomach upsets if chewed or ingested by curious cats or dogs. If you have a particularly cheeky pup or kitten who loves to munch on garden greenery, we highly recommend checking out our purpose-made Pet-Friendly Native Australian Box for total non-toxic peace of mind!
